In the early 2000s, James embarked on learning about mindfulness meditation and Buddhist psychology through private studies and courses. 

He has been diligently practicing meditation for the past five years and has recently trained with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF) to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Life, Finding Peace in a Frantic World, and Introduction to Mindfulness courses. 

Most recently, James has launched The Mindfulness Collective with the ultimate aim of bringing together teachers and practitioners from around the world for mindfulness practice and development.
