collage technics

cut, paste, paint, scan and create new worlds.

This workshop is an ideal moment to reflect on your life. What are your wishes, your desires? Where do you want to go as a person? What do you want to achieve in the near future?

Making a vision board is a relaxing and inspiring activity. You get the space and guidance to feel what your heart tells you and to think about your future, something we don't take the time for in everyday life.

After the workshop you take the vision board home and hang it in a place where you pass by every day.

Purpose of the workshop. A vision board is a collage of:

  • realize the things that really matter to you
  • visualize what you want to realize (business or private)
  • understand the qualities you want to make your own
  • the one you want to be in your life

In Lubrin, Andalusia, Spain, we make ourselves comfortable at Casa de Arte de Simone, where we will stay for a week to enjoy Spanish food, go on tour to explore the countryside, but most of all create amazing works of art.

Judith's training consists of three days.
In the morning you will work on your mood board from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. In the afternoon there are personal coaching sessions.

Judith Pelgrom, visual artist

Judith Pelgrom is an Amsterdam based collage artist with a fascination for creating visually rich pieces, with an emphasis on details and patterns.

Judith Pelgrom

Inspired by decades of living and working abroad, her practice has developed since the mid-1980s to become an extension of her keen obsession with cultural trend and social commitment, fueling a passion for translating her observations through collage art.

Growing up in a very creative environment, with a father as sculptor, painter and a mother as a writer, she was stimulated to develop her own creativity. She learned in an early age to look with an open mind to the world and to be critical on any injustice done to people.

Creating any independent artwork consists of immersing yourself into a visually dynamic process. Start the creative process, from which the composition within the artwork becomes a new whole from the constituent parts.

Follow the art lessons of Judith Pelgrom. She will be available all week to help and answer all your questions.

Take guided walking tours to learn more about this rich cultural land. Visit Cabo di Gata natural resort and mini Hollywood. Nature is great.

Visit local markets. Enjoy the snow-white beach at Mogacar, it's only a 40 minute drive through the mountains.

Take a guided tour of the pueblos blancos, enjoy fine dining and learn how to cook ancient paella from our local chef, Marieluz. Take lots of photos and turn them into negatives to create cyanotypes.

Before you go home you present your work to each.

You will go home inspired, recharged and with lots of beautiful works of art.

At the end of the week you will have a clear picture of where you want to go, based on your board, you can make a plan for your next steps. Where necessary, I can help you to make your next steps concrete with extra personal coachingsessions.
